Budds Beach.
This is one of the best beaches on the Gold Coast for a family outing – and as a bonus, it is only minutes from the frenetic activity of Surfers Paradise. It’s a bit of a secret spot that the locals tend to keep to themselves – and when you get there you will see why. It’s incredibly peaceful. it’s a place where kids can enjoy just being kids. Let the stress leave you as you watch the sedate progress of boats on the nearby Nerang River.
Burleigh Heads.
No list of the best beaches on the Gold Coast would be complete without a hat tip to Burleigh Heads. This beach has received accolades as the best on the coast too many times to count – and it’s not difficult to see why when you step onto the golden sands. It’s spotlessly clean and orderly thanks to regular patrols. It’s a place where families and surfers tend to coexist in perfect harmony. Main Beach.
Yet another firm favorite with families this is the place to go if you want to be within easy reach of Surfers Paradise and want somewhere to simply lie back on the great white sands. It’s a fairly extensive stretch of sand so there is plenty of room to toss a frisbee around or engage in a pickup game of beach football.
Snapper Rocks.
You cannot ignore the possibility that some folk might want to surf or body board in a place called Surfers Paradise. One of the best beaches for this is Snapper Rocks.
